Welcome! I have been a stay at home Mom now for nine years since my first son was born. I am the mother of four young children and. I designed this site to share my experiences as a Stay at Home Mom.

When I grew up my family didn't have much money but my Mom always managed to afford to stay home with us until we were in school. As a kid, I didn't envy my friends that had bigger houses or nicer cars, I was just glad I got to spend time with my Mom all day. Now that I am older I appreciate the sacrifices my parents made in order to do that. That is why I have always wanted to be a stay at home Mom.

I have always wanted kids and my husband was lucky to get me to wait as long as we did so only a year after he graduated from college we had our first baby. My husband is a wonderful writer and went to school for journalism but if any of you are journalists out there you know it takes a while to get going in that field. I quit my career when my son was born hoping to find a job working from home to help make ends meet. After finding a lot of scams and ideas that I didn't want to do I did find work from home for a reliable company. I have also done a lot of other odds and ends jobs from home. NONE of these jobs required any money from me, any start up fees, any training costs and NO MLM or pyramid schemes.

Along the way I have also learned a lot about being frugal and lots of ways to cut costs around the home.
